Meet Tyler Fowler
I started Parallel Painting in 2016 because I saw too many homeowners getting burned by sloppy work and vague pricing. This is an owner-operated company — I am personally on every single job from the initial walkthrough to the final inspection. No project managers, no subcontractors, no surprises.
We specialize in cabinet refinishing using Italian-sourced 2K Italian polyurethane — the same industrial-grade coating system used in high-end European furniture manufacturing. This two-component catalyzed finish chemically cross-links to create a permanent bond that resists scratches, stains, moisture, and daily kitchen wear. It does not yellow over time, and it does not chip like latex or alkyd paints.
Every cabinet project goes through our controlled process: HEPA-vacuumed prep, sealed negative-pressure containment in your home, professional HVLP spray application, grain filling on wood surfaces, and 5+ coats including primer. Typical turnaround is about 2 weeks. We handle everything — from removing doors and hardware to the final reinstallation and alignment. You get factory-quality results without replacing a single cabinet.
I live in Anza, a small mountain community about 30 minutes east of Temecula. From there I serve 11 cities across Temecula Valley and Coachella Valley — Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Fallbrook, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, and La Quinta. I drive to every estimate and every job personally. When you call (951) 551-0583, you get me — not a call center, not a sales rep.
The sealed containment environment is something I take seriously. Most painters spray cabinets in your garage or driveway and hope for the best. I build floor-to-ceiling plastic barrier walls with HEPA-vacuumed sanding during prep and negative-pressure containment during the spray stage — plastic barriers, negative air pressure, commercial filtration — so overspray and dust never reach your living space. That level of control is what makes the difference between a paint job and a refinish that looks and feels like factory work.
Every cabinet refinishing project comes with a 5-year written warranty. I stand behind the materials and the process because I know what Italian 2K polyurethane can do when it is applied correctly. These finishes are engineered for commercial and industrial use in Europe — kitchen cabinets in a family home are well within their capability. After 53+ five-star reviews on Yelp and Google, the work speaks for itself. I do not run ads or chase leads. Most of my business comes from referrals and repeat customers who saw what this finish looks like three or four years later and called me back for another room.
