Cabinet Refinishing
Same cabinets, a sprayed factory-grade 2K polyurethane finish, no demolition. Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in the negative-pressure booth at Tyler's shop; the cabinet boxes are sprayed in place inside a sealed, negative-pressure work area set up before sanding begins and kept in place through spraying. Sanding is HEPA-vacuumed. Backed by a written 5-year warranty. Grain filling on open-grain oak is optional and listed separately in your written scope. A fan draws air through a regular filter and vents outdoors to help control airborne dust, overspray, and fumes within the work area.

Wallpaper Installation & Wall Prep
Wallpaper installation and removal for accent walls, full rooms, and specialty wallcoverings. A wallpaper job is only as good as the wall beneath it, so Tyler handles glue removal, patching, skim-coating where needed, primer/sealer, clean seams, and careful pattern matching before the room is called finished. Wall prep is backed by a written 5-year warranty; the wallpaper itself is covered by its manufacturer.

2K Polyurethane on Every Cabinet Job
2K polyurethane is the standard on every cabinet job, not something you pay extra for. Every kitchen gets the same two-component catalyzed finish, sprayed over detailed preparation and primer, and there's no cheaper coating on the menu. The only step above it is an Italian 2K system; ask Tyler if you want it.
HEPA-Vacuumed Sanding and a Sealed, Negative-Pressure Work Area
HEPA filters are rated to capture 99.97% of airborne particles at 0.3 microns. Parallel Painting's process uses HEPA-rated extraction at the sander, inside a sealed negative-pressure work area that goes up before the first pass of sandpaper and stays up through spraying. Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in the negative-pressure booth at Tyler's shop. In your kitchen, Tyler seals the room with plastic, runs negative air pressure, and sprays the cabinet boxes inside that sealed work area. Detailed cleanup completes the dust-control process. While the boxes are being sprayed, family and pets stay out of the sealed, negative-pressure work area until Tyler gives the all-clear; he goes over the plan for your household before work starts. A fan draws air through a regular filter and vents outdoors to help control airborne dust, overspray, and fumes within the work area.

Review the written warranty before work begins, including the covered failures, exclusions, duration and responsibility for repair materials. Cabinet and painting work includes a written 5-year warranty covering chipping, peeling or blistering caused by faulty preparation.
