Our 5-Year Written Warranty — Straight Up
Every Parallel Painting cabinet job comes with a written 5-year warranty. If the finish chips, peels, or blisters because of faulty prep within five years of completion, Tyler Fowler comes back and repairs it. The warranty is written into the contract you sign, and the person who honors it is the person who did the work.
The process is what lets Tyler put that in writing: a two-component (2K) polyurethane that chemically cures into a hard, tough shell, sprayed in the negative-pressure booth at his shop for the doors and drawer fronts, and inside a sealed, negative-pressure work area for the cabinet boxes, after HEPA-vacuumed sanding.
What It Covers
Chipping, peeling, or blistering caused by faulty prep: five years from completion on cabinet refinishing, general painting, and wall preparation under wallpaper. Prep is the part of the job that's on Tyler, and it's the most common reason a finish fails early. The paint, coating, and wallpaper products are covered by their manufacturers.
What It Doesn't Cover
Problems that aren't caused by faulty prep: defects in the paint, coating, or wallpaper itself (the manufacturer's warranty covers those), moisture in the wood, heat, steam, or water from appliances such as dishwashers, ovens, and sinks, ordinary wear and tear, impact and abrasion, harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning, misuse or damage by others, old finish layers under our work that let go, and settling or structural movement. An exact color match on a repair is excluded, because it isn't always possible.
How to Make a Claim
Email [email protected] or call (951) 551-0583. Tyler schedules an inspection, and if it's caused by faulty prep, he repairs the affected area. To keep the warranty valid, pay the contract in full, keep your signed contract and proof of payment, and give Tyler access for the repair. Under the contract, you cover the repair materials and Tyler covers the labor.
